Close to being made = we still have nothing. Close to being made was what we had May 18th after the Peterson-Matthysse fight. I'll be much happier once this fight is signed and not just close to being made.

Even though I don’t think he will win, nothing but respect for Danny Garcia if he does sign to make this fight.

Win, lose or draw Danny shuts down all his critics just by taking the fight.

For me, most anticipated fight of this fall if it happens.

That would have been the case if Danny had agreed to fight him as quick as Peterson did. Peterson is another title holder, still he agreed to fight him right away. That Danny Garcia ducked him while saying Lucas was no good, saying that every one of his opponents would beat him, that's what got him the hate. Had he shut up, fight him before getting forced to do so by the WBC, that would have made a big difference.
No real box fan likes a boxer that ducks. I know I dont. I didnt like it when Chavez Jr. ducked "Maravilla" Martinez and I dont like that Martinez is ducking now himself.
