There was a thread on this site that said Bradley Prov peaked at 1.4 mill viewers..Maybe I misunderstood..

^^^^ this! Well said that fight was f&cking terrible Juanma should've never been in the ring with Mikey. And it was a non title fight Mikey couldn't make weight cause he was sick. Excuses excuses just like how he quit against Salido no balls....

I have Dish but don't have premium channels. However, sometimes they give me a weekend of premium channels free. The weekend of Juanma-Garcia I had the premium channels, maybe this is why they got the best ratings so far.

For everyone talking about the free preview, Nielsen doesn't count non-subscriber homes watching free previews when they release ratings for any HBO or Showtime programming. So that doesn't factor in on this.

              mexicans and puerto ricans
              garcia
              a lack of other fights

not surprising that it did well. i'm pretty high on garcia now. he looked like a guy who had all the tools, but wasn't mentally ready. he almost quit against matt remillard, who sucks. i guess garcia had stomach problems / the sh#ts.

now he's mentally ready. he's a pro boxer who behaves that way. he's going to be hard to beat if he still carries power at 130 and 135.

sometimes ratings are funny. if there's huge rain storms over much of the country the ratings will go up, because nobody wants to go out at night. ladies don't wanna get they hair wet.

great ratings for what was not a top card.

That is good for BAD but their subscriber rate for that weekend would be massively higher than normal when you add up which providers had a free preview weekend.

It is good but not good in proportion to the increase in possible audience available~ and did those fights make people want to buy HBO for boxing which would be the whole point of showing boxing on a free preview weekend. I would say Berto-Ortiz which had a similar situation and did slightly better served their purpose a lot better.

The average for the telecast was 1.1 million so the 1.3m is the peak for the Garcia fight.

The Bradley fight did a 1.2m average and peak 1.4m.

The Canelo/Trout fight on SHO did a peak 1.1m.

Cotto vs. Trout averaged 1.04m and peaked at 1.4m on SHO.

The Broner vs. Rees did a 1.4m average and peaked at 1.551m.
