Potential match-ups at present that may never happen

With Mayweather vs Pacquiao now going in the boxing books as those what if fights that will be debated upon in years, what are the other potential fights that will follow suit, with no chance at all from ever happening.

Timothy Bradley and Amir Khan - I've always wanted to see them fight, Both consider each other "rivals", Bradley was even quote he hasnt forgotten Khan, but on what's happening currently, I see Khan losing a close decision (Similar to Peterson) to Devon Alexander in December, but will get his wish to face Floyd Mayweather in 2014 and lose again, Bradley, on the other hand, may continue to win ugly, and I doubt if he'l remain unbeaten in two years time.

Saul Alvarez and James Kirkland - outside of Floyd Mayweather, Lara and Kirkland are two exciting match ups for Canelo, he'd fight Lara while Kirkland has become a waste potential, with all his troubles and now going to jail.

Saul Alvarez and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr - Mexico has been longing for this fight with their two countrymen, but will GBP and Top Rank made it happen.

Broner-Rios-Gamboa - I thought these three will create excitement fighting each other at 135-140 lbs, but Broner has moved up, and Yuriorkis Gamboa once pulled out of a Brandon Rios fight.

You might be able to add Fury vs Haye to that list. Apparently the fight is all but done, yet for the last week there's been only silence. Also, with his recent decline in form, Martinez probably won't be fighting any top notch opponent.

      David Haye vs. Vitali Klitschko

      Tyson Fury vs. David Price

George Groves vs. James DeGale II

And, by the looks of it, Alexander Povetkin vs. Wladimir Klitschko

Quite apart from those reasons, Kirkland's going to jail.

Crawford vs Broner but who knows a year or two down the line they could be with the same promotional company.
