He followed that up with arguably another loss against Corey Spinks! Was knocked out by Pavlik, lost a UD in an eventful but diminished display and then beat a glorified hypejob (who was exposed by Calzaghe) in Lacy, in his sole fight at 168 before Froch!

Make no mistake, Jermain Taylor's best years were before 2006
I think what you're trying to say is that Jermain Taylor was never a truly great fighter. He was hardly shop worn. To fight on terms with Hopkins and Winky is not bad though even if you think he got gifts in those fights. They were very close.

Well whatever people say or think of Carl frock here is my 10 pence worth. Is he the most gifted boxer? No is he the fastest? No is he the biggest puncher? No but what he has got is the heart of a champion a cast iron jaw and uses all the abilities he has to make him a 3 time world champion as for the yusaf mack fight name any champion that has not had an easy title defence at some stage in my eyes deserved a rest and easy pay day. Can he beat ward probably not so what next Kessler 3 would be good and then maybe an all British affair against groves. I don't get all the haters as win or lose he has fought the best in the division

Froch should be thanking god everyday he didn't fight in the Joe Calzaghe era otherwise he would've been crushed into oblivion.
I have no doubt the 2006-08 versions of Calzaghe, Bernard Hopkins, and Prime Kessler would have easily beaten Froch.

No, I just think that Taylor was never the same fighter after the first and second Hopkins fights! And he rapidly digressed after them! Watch his fights before the Hopkins fight then watch after and you see a marked decline!

I'm not saying this to try to hate on Taylor, or Froch's resume for that matter, I was a big Taylor fan and I like Froch also he's a warrior. But it's a fact there was a marked decline in Bad Intentions after the Hopkins fights!

Well I would suggest looking at who he was fighting prior to the Hopkins fights. Was there really a marked decline in Taylor or just a marked improvement in his competition?

I can't believe Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Abraham, Kessler, Ward and Bute were all in their good moments. Froch fought every single one of them and won except against Ward and the first fight against Kessler which he avenged. You're probably some ***** or *******. I'm done with you. Vermin.
He good ok even great leave it at that? what do u want everyone to circle jerk over him for are you bored of doing it by yourself?

I'm sorry I didn't hear your question? I seem to have become lodged up a pugilists arse somewhere in Nottingham.

Oh that's right, you didn't ask one.

One of the greatest world class resumes ever.

How about: 'Solid professional - deserving of respect - credit to the sport, who's about to be mowed down by his own ****wagon of dribbling trolls and crowned the hyperbolic 'Most Overrated - Underrated Boxer In The History Of The Sport Ever, Part II'.

There are guys with undoubtedly better resumes. I guess you're talking about tough runs of fighters over the last few years, up to a decade or whatever....Anyway, here's just two.

                    Vic Darchinyan:
                    Guillermo Rigondeaux (coming up)
                    Nonito Donaire
                    Abner Mares
                    Anselmo Moreno
                    Jorge Arce
                    Christian Mijares
                    Shinsuke Yamanaka
                    Yohnny Perez
                    Joseph Agbeko
                    Irene Pacheco
                    Dimitry Kirilov

Abner Mares: In just the last three years....
                    Vic Darchinyan
                    Joseph Agbeko x 2
                    Eric Morel
                    Anselmo Moreno
                    Yohnny Perez
                    Daniel Ponce DeLeon

To be fair, Calzaghe slugged it out with Bika.

'would haves' count for very little, in fact they count for nothing.
