I find it funny that when Pederson DOES get caught, and there is little outrage here, no fines, no lost titles, no sactions, no bannings or even suspencions.
The same idiots who baselessly claim PAc and Khan took EPO, are the same when the brothers are getting caught for cheating multiple times a year.
People sure do hate the ppl they speculate take PEDs, but seem to love when actual fighers (non speculative) take PEDS.

I am not sure he is on illegal drugs. If he got caught using drugs it would not change the results of the last Pacquiao-Marquez fight because there would be no prove that Marquez used illegal drugs for that fight. Su****ions don't make a man guilty in America. Proof makes a man guilty. Someone can believe Margarito used illegal hand wraps for the first Cotto fight and every other fight he ever had. There is no proof that he used illegal wraps except for having illegal wraps going into the Mosley fight. Innocent until proven guilty is the way justice is supposed to work in the USA. Because a fighter gets caught doing something illegal does not mean he is automatically guilty of doing it in past fights. People can believe what ever they want but for a man to be found guilty there must be proof and not just su****ions of guilt.

Its the fact that he was using a known cheater as a coach, looked hulked up, and withstood a barrage of shots from manny, when manny has always been to knock him down when pressing on the gas, and even barrera knocked him down, and so did katsisdis..
Its just strange the transformation for a guy in his late 30's...

Anyway, to the OP if Marquez gets caught his whole career comes under question not just the Pacquiao fight.
However, it's still an 'if', meaningless at this point.

Same thing applies to the positive tests supposably sweeped under the rug, there have been rumours but nothing has been proven. For a mere fan with no inside knowledge to pass these speculations of as a fact is just dumb. Incidently its the same thing you call other people ****** for.

I can't believe people still think Marquez was doping because he got a KO and he looked more muscular than before. It is so ****** for a multitude of reasons. The first reason is that POWER = SPEED X MASS. The only thing in that equation PEDs could help you with is speed and we all know he did not look fast against Pac, he looked the same as ever. The second reason is most of the speed and mass for the KO was generated by Pac jumping into the shot like an excited child running into a lamp post. The third reason is that Marquez did not look unnaturally different than before. This was his third time at the weight and he actually did a proper strength and conditioning program this time around to help grow into the weight with muscle instead of fat. Anyone who doesn't think you can't gain 3 or 4 pounds of muscle and strip some fat at 39 with good diet and a proper exercise program is just plain idiotic. Now maybe Marquez has taken something before but the only current shred of doubt is because he is working with someone who had ties to PEDs but that does not warrant people thinking that he was doping against Pac because he got a KO and discrediting what was a career defining win.

Peterson was suspended, fined and stripped of one of his two titles. I agree the punishment shouldve been worse but saying it didnt take place at all is just a lie.

not even that mid-air shot in fight 2 with pacquiao relaxed and completely unexpecting, getting his head turned, considering how well he caught himself, that's about all marquez was managed to do, turn his head and mess with his line of vision and since he was in mid-air mess with his landing, no actual brain jarring
most marquez managed was probabley the thumb into pacquiao's eye in the first 2 fights, in fight 3 he did hurt pacquiao, in rd 9-10 i believe
by the fourth he was obviously alot stronger than he has ever been, steroids or not, only a dumbass would think was the same ole marquez who just happened to land the perfect punche, twice
also pacquiao probabley made it worse on himself by neglecting the strenght&conditioningLast edited by SplitSecond; 06-17-2013, 06:16 PM.
