Looks like Ward took being told that he has no fans by Froch and Floyd to heart. It's burning him up inside

Ward is managed by James Prince who is on good terms with Bob Arum, why would James Prince do business with Golden Boy when Floyd works with them and Al Haymon and Showtime and Ward is an HBO fighter and commentator?

Another option could be Ward signing to SMS promotions and 50 cent, but not sure if James Prince is cool with that.

I could be wrong but its more likely Ward will go to Top Rank since Ward has a contract with HBO as a commentator and Todd debeuf has taken interest in him.

GGG is a super fight that will be made down the line, Ward still makes 168 well so we could see that, we could also see a catchweight fight between Ward and Martinez, we can see some middleweights from England be fed to Ward at 168.

Ward should have left Goossen a long time ago, Goossen is a good man and very nice guy, but he doesn't have the clout that Arum has to market and take a guy like Ward to the next level.

Ward vs. Chavez Jr will be a huge fight regardless of people say and it will introduce Ward to a larger market and his first PPV headliner and I have a feeling it would be in Dallas Cowboy Stadium.

Ward isn;t getting any younger and he has to strike while the iron is hot.

Never gets old watching Chavez Jr. get schooled. Can't see how you could get excited for that fight though.

Yeah, the GBP-TR beef isn't going to affect Ward at all. Sound decision imo.

He would get the Chavez fight and then his career would stagnate just like Bradley career. Am sure Bradley is looking at all the fights and better options he could have got by now at GBP.

It's the big one though isn't it? This is Ward's De La Hoya, it's as good as it gets in and around those divisions.
