I was thinking if a fighter has a high ko record will they give 100% in conditioning if they kno most of their fights end b4 the 12th round, I'm kind of referring this to canelo

Only a ****** fighter would not train hard because they expected to get an early KO. Canelo trains hard and does not count on getting an early KO. One of the reasons guys with good or great KO records get so many KOs is because they are in good shape and can throw lots hard punches round after round and break their opponents down. Guys like Pacquiao, Matthysse, Duran, Valero, Pryor, Angulo and Marciano could take a guy out in the last round just as easily as they could take him out in the first round because of the good condition they were in. They trained hard and if they didn't it would show up in their performance in the ring.Comment

Maidana has been effected by this since he stepped up competition in 2009. thought he was going to KO Corley,Khan, Morales early and was gassed after half of the fight. (Khan mostly because of the brutal Body shot)
Maidana with really top conditioning would be a lot better fighter.Comment
