I can see Haye taking one of the titles and just sitting on it, perhaps even being forced to vacate if they put a credible mandatory in his way.
This'll happen when Vitali vacates the WBC title. From what i've heard, Haye is pretty close to the WBC president. He'll take the title, claim to be the 'real HW champ' and avoid Wladimir like the plague.

If they're both gone, he may pick up a few, then, as you say, vacate when a credible opponent becomes mandatory.

Most of the hate for the Klitschkos comes from the 'States. In European and, more recently, Britain, they're pretty well respected.

The Americans might finally get a champion and he would be promoted as a sporting superstar. Jennings/Mitchell/Banks/Wilder could all get a shot.

                Imagine there's no Klitschko's
                It's easy if you try
                No jabs all fight
                No-one so bored, they die.
                Imagine all the fans.
                Enjoying a HW bout, yeeahhhaaaaaaaha

                Imagine there's no Vitali
                It isn't hard to do
                No title fights for Chaar
                And no TKO6 too.
                Imagine all the Lewis fans.
                Living life in peaceeee youoooohhooohoooh

You may say I'm a dreamer
but I'm not the only one
I hope some day, they'll retire.
And heavyweight fights will be fun.

                Imagine no Wladimir.
                I wonder if you can.
No need for holds or clinches.
                Enjoyment, for the fan.
                Imagine all the people.
                Watching heavy-weights, yoooo-oohh-ooohooooooooooooooooooo

the thing is the Klitschkos are so superior and dominant that they squash any possible threat or future HOF.

There will be numerous guys changing belts in between them all the time, nobody will dominate like the Klitschko's did. It's both good and bad. The division will open up, but it will be kind of a mess with no single recognized champ.

Damn, this might just go in my sig! Haha. Green K.

On topic, everyone can see the Bros are just a level above everyone else. As Ray said, back in the day we've had boring eras - but at least with an exciting champion see Clay post liston, Tyson, Holmes etc.

When they retire, it will inevitably be like it was back in 2007-2008 when there was three-four (if I remember correctly) champions. That was a big big mess, and probably the most dull heavyweight era of all times. Wladimir sort of cleaned it up and to his credit at least added some much needed structure to the division.

Haye will probably take a portion of it if, and that's a big if, he still fights. Price, Fury (both of them), Pulev, Jennings and maybe Scott will fight it out. Don't see anyone else at the moment being able to challenge. Not Povetkin either. He's crap.
