How's he going to become a PPV star with a division filled with fat and mediocre fighters. Who's clamouring to see him fight Fury, Haye or Stiverne? Who cares?

If he continues choking **********s and then getting a slap on the wrist then yea that could turn him into a PPV star.

Someone one this site actually said that if Wilder wins a HW title, he would end up making more money than Floyd does

No but he would be eye candy in the same way that Amir Khan is. I guarantee you he's hiding glass under that chin.

You guys are looking at it all wrong. PPV stars aren't built by boxing fans, they are built by casual fans who tune in to watch a "name". If Wilder wins a portion of the HW title, especially if he by some miracle manages to beat someone like Wlad, then he will be pushed as America's biggest sporting star. All sorts of money and publicity will be thrown his way. He could become the biggest draw in boxing, over shadowing any of Floyd and Pacs recent work.

Then again that's all wishful thinking!

If he is good enough to beat every other top rated heavyweight then I think he would be a pay for view star and make lots of money. Many paying American fans want an American to be the heavyweight champion. Many paying black American fans miss the days when a black American was almost always the heavyweight champ and the top contenders were almost always black Americans too. I am not trying to be racist but I think both race and nationality play a part in how big a star Wilder could be if he keeps winning. He knocks everybody out so far and he has the build of an athlete so that should help him be popular.

He's nowhere near good enough to hold even a paper title, so it's irrelevant really.
