No, and from I remember casual fans seemed to hate it the first time.

I seem to remember people here were really enjoying Donaire's loss to Rigondeaux, and accusing Donaire of ducking a rematch when he said he's moving up a division due to weight (-cutting) issues.

Now that he's openly hoping for a rematch, people will say that it's pointless.

Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.

Maybe bec. he's a real fighter, and wants to avenge his loss. Win or lose, I respect that.

Besides, as a boxing fan, I would very much like to see how Donaire adjusts his tehnique, if at all, to counteract Rigondeaux's strengths, and how Rigondeaux adjusts to that.

For what it's worth, *I* want the rematch. Along with the people who really looked forward to their first match. Please make this happen, Top Rank.

I guess Im the only one who admires him wanting the immediate rematch and it seems like Im definitely the only one who wants to see it and is excited for it.

The fact is that the Donaire that Rigo beat is highly overrated. That guy Donaire has been is a stalker, one punch, head hunter. Thats not how he became a top rated P4P guy. If he can get back to his essence in being a well rounded fighter with good boxing skill then I would love to see the fight.

If he wants an immediate rematch then it will be one of 2 things. He will either get back to being a very good pure boxer who can punch which should be a more competitive fight. or he can just be the same guy that he's recently been and just crank up the pressure in this fight by letting his hands go alot more.

Basically fight like he did in the round where he got the knock down but do that for 12 rounds. He will probably lose and get KO but it will be a much more exciting fight than the 1st. Either way, I wanna see it. Its still one of the best fights to be made in the sport

they have the same trainer, if Donaire is ducking someone, he should not asking for RIGO! get some common sense! lol
