That is why Garcia wanted him to face Peterson first, he hoped Peterson would take something out of Lucas. But Matths only frightened Garcia even more.

I'm worried that's the attitude GBP will take too. Let Lucas and Chino ruin each other and keep the guys with more earning power out of the way. It's business for the promoters after all.

Matthysse has done everything possible to make this fight though. He became Garcia's mandatory, he consistently called him, he was impressive as hell in his big match with Peterson. He's done all you can ask a fighter to do. If he gets denied his shot again it'll be really sickening.

So the past week went by, the week in which Richard Schaefer said the Garcia-Matthysse fight was supposed to be signed, and as we all know nothing happened. Times running out, Danny Garcia is clearly as scared as he seemed on the ringside during the Peterson fight, old man Garcia who can’t keep his pie hole shut hasnt said a word and this all looks like crap for Matthysse becuase its clear that they just cant get that bich Danny to fight him.
I see this coming as if I had a crystal ball here folks. Danny will do a Morales III fight, "The return of the Geriatric Menace", or something along those lines. Matthysse on the other hand, instead of getting an easy fight against queen Garcia and rightfully getting his title will have to go to war with Maidana.
I'm afraid Danny will be allowed to get away with this for a long time.
