He fights like Floyd did at 135. I thought that was obvious.

Crawford is the next kingpin of the lightweights. I see him beating everyone except maybe Vazquez and Abril right now. He would destroy Burns, Gamboa, DeMarco, etc.

        Not as impressed

Maybe it's because of Max Kellerman but I think Crawford is a little over hyped. He is a good fighter but maybe he needs to fight the best to bring out his best. Sanabria was a nothing fighter that HBO couldn't find any tape on and that's almost impossible these days they talked about him like a book they never read but assumed he was better than most thought. I know he beat Mikey in the amateurs but that is the amateurs. It does help that is is 135 because the division is pretty awful right now because if he was 140 he would have a long ways to go. I am definitely waiting to see more from him because his last 2 fights haven't sold me as much as everyone else.

I would like to see Sanabria again too..I thought he showed a very good understanding of the sport..He seemed to not be in the best condition(which happens without the proper funds to train)but maybe he can fix that and come back and win..He was not the worst fighter I seen,he also has very good fundamentals..

yes I definitely saw this too....

but its more his overall ring generalship rather than a specific thing he does... if anything it showed me just how good Floyd's defence is / was around them times coz while Crawford controlled much of the fight he still got tagged with a few big shots (he handled them extremely well tho) but I just got the sense that Floyd wouldn't have been caught by as many.... would like to see what happens when he gets proper backed up by an opponent and how he deals with that... he seems to wanna fight his way out (offence becomes his defence)... that's when he looks a little open

I'm not dismissing him and the fact that I'm talking about him terms of a guy like Floyd shows how impressed I was... he kinda looks like sweet pea and does a bit of crouch which sweet pea did a lot but otherwise I saw more similarities to FLoyd.

Him vs Broner could be good... Might be like Floyd v Zab.... maybe too small for Thurman who I see campaigning at light middle some point soon

With all due respect Abril and Vazquez are champions but to say this kid is not ready for them is a sad analogy. It is the other way around . He was getting hit a little bit because he had to be the aggressor - which goes to show you how good he is because he is the natural boxer and the guy with the high ko % became the runner - so he has power can make adjustments has superior ring generalship and defense - is compared to fighters like Floyd & sweet P in the ring not out of it - who do you guys think at 135- 140 can beat him and I will break down why they cannot . Think with your minds and not with your bromance hearts.

Abril's and Vazquez's styles are too complicated for Crawford atm. Y'all getting a little bit too ahead of yourselves. No need to rush this guy.

I don't wanna see anyone call him a runner or boring anymore tho.

Gamboa is the best at lightwieght. Can Crawford get pass Gamboa, I don't know, maybe not. But it should make for one hell of a fight.
