  • Comments Thread For: Terence Crawford Stops Alejendro Sanabria in Six

American Airlines Center, Dallas, Texas - Lightweight contender Terence Crawford (21-0, 16KOs) stopped Alejandro Sanabria (34-2-1, 25KOs) in the sixth round. The fight started slow, with both fighters feeling each other out. Sanabria did an edge better in the second with hard hooks. During the third, Crawford rocked Sanabria with a series of shots. Sanabria had to fight his way out of trouble. Crawford was mixing up his shots in the third, going down to the body. At the start of the sixth, a lead left hook crushed Sanabria down to the mat. Sanabria made it up but he was stumbling around and the fight was stopped by the referee.

Outstanding performance. Took the initiative. Got hit with some quality punches, though. Can't wait to see more... Crawford has a bunch of potential.

Crawford is both a very smart and likable fighter. Sanabria had some tools and came to win but Crawford really executes his style well with the right mix of defense and offence. Elite skills. The only thing I wonder is if or how he will solve the Rubik's cubes known as Vasquez and Abril. But he is now one of the best 135 pounders in the world which is not bad going from little known to one of the best in 2013.

Crawford is the "real deal", the guy has elite-level natural abilities and his ability to adapt and his composure are elite as well - he is only going to get better.

He doesn't remind me of sweet pea, if anything for some reason he reminds me of pryor. Maybe it's the way he stare down his opponent throughout the whole fight.

I have followed Terrence since he scored a devastating KO on EPSN2 a few years back. I'm glad people are finally waking up to him.

Crawford totally reminds me of Junior 'Poison' Jones. He impressed me against Prescott and he's cool to watch, so I wish him luck.
