I think the match-up completely favors Jennings, only there is one small problem:
Jennings likes to flirt with danger. He likes to hang out in his opponents power zone and tempt fate. Against Stiverne, that's a huge mistake. Stiverne has legitimate one punch knock out power.
I still like Jennings, however, as I think he's probably smart enough to know what I, and everyone else knows, about Stiverne.
Stiverne has all the tools to be a great heavyweight champion. However, his style doesn't fit his skillset. He's too patient and tries to hard to outbox his opponent, where he should be far more aggressive, work the body, and open his opponent up.
Sadly, he may be too far into his development to make such a dramatic change, which may prevent him from ever realizing his true potential.
He could be another Sonny Liston. Instead, he'll probably just end up being another Ron Lyle.
In short, there aren't likely any heavyweights with Stiverne's power, but there are many better boxers in the division:
Malik Scott, Bryant Jennings, Wlad Klitschko, and David Haye are just a few that come right to mind.
I got Stiverne in this one.Jennings would need a big ring,Stiverne would catch up with him over 12 rounds.I don't see Jennings stopping any contenders I. The diviison.I really like them both.I don't see finishing power from Jennings though, against the legit contenders anyway.
