gab rosado sure gets a lot of attention

He gets a lot of attention because he's a fight fan's fighter. He may not be the most talented or captivating guy out there, but he's got heart and balls for days. He gave up a title shot in his own division to move up in weight and fight Golovkin when nobody else seemed willing to, FFS. If that doesn't command respect then I don't know what does.
Rosado's attitude is a breath of fresh air in today's era of "high risk, low reward" type fighters. He deserves respect and network support for that.Comment

In boxing, running your mouth is par for the course. This is a sport whose idiotic fans write you off as a "bum" after a single loss, afterall. People stop paying attention when you stop giving them a reason to.Comment

I don't see the big deal there. It was a twelve round fight and Rosado was stopped in seven, a bloody mess. Gabe moved around quite a bit for the first three rounds. Nothing wrong with that, but let's not forget Rosado wasn't exactly going toe-to-toe with Golovkin.
I don't see the big deal here, either. Gabe started his pro career at 20. He's now 27. He has to move fast. Taking on the biggest fights he can manage is a must if he's going to have anything resembling a career. He's doing what he has to do.He's a fighter with almost no amateur background and has been learning on the job, taking any fights that were offered him. In a age were fighters are more protected than ever, Rosado is a throwback. I wish there were more fighters out there like him. He came up the hard way and he deserves some attention.
Those are not 50-50 fights. Those are all top-five junior middleweights. Rosado loses to every fighter you mentioned. He might make a good account of himself -- he's a decent fighter with some heart -- but he loses just the same. And why would anyone be in a rush to fight Gabe? What do the bigger names have to gain by fighting him?If Rosado is a espn level fighter why is he going to be on HBO for the 3rd fight in a row? Rosado beats most jmw's. Lara, Trout, and Canelo vs Rosado are all 50/50 fights IMO. And none of the champs have been in a rush to fight Rosado, I wonder why that is? It must be there afraid of being exposed by a espn level fighter.Comment

The decision to fight Golovkin turned out to be a good one. Rosado gained a lot by losing. Gabe landed in a promotional sweet-spot. He's got heart and a good style; but he's not a terrible danger to the top guys, or those with real aspirations. Rosado will continue to get called for decent fights. Good for him.Rosado has yet to get a shot at a top LMW. Part of that is his own fault, since he decided to fight GGG instead. But that did lead to an opportunity against Love on Mayweather's under-card, which he arguably won and benefited off the fact that Love cheated. He should fight Delvin Rodriguez on a ESPN/NBC card and then try to get a fight with the Smith/Molina winner.Comment

Yeah I only know of her from the **** she talked about Pacquiao, I have no clue why she hates his guts so much.
I think they just have the same last name.Comment

No one should hate on Rosado whether he's good or not. I used to but the dude has earned my respect. He's worked his way into contention and gives it 100% even if he's getting his ass beat like in the GGG fight.

Here's an excerpt from an article I found on fight news.com, written before the Love fight:
"Rosado is now under contract with Golden Boy Promotions, and is committed to two more fights with the promoter, if he beats Love. At Golden Boy, options for Rosado abound, with many of the top 154 and 160 pounders also signed with the promoter. Although comfortable at middleweight, Team Rosado still keeps one eye on the lower division."Comment
