As someone stated the guy has only fought once in the last year! I would think its difficult to follow someone who fights that infrequently. Wouldn't you think?

What he means is that the casual fan wouldn't realize that Ward has cleaned out the 168 division and hardcore fans already know. Furthermore, many hardcore fans dislike Ward's style(s) and his penchant for fighting in the US and nor taking bigger risks overseas. Only a casual fan would ask who is Ward when damn near every hardcore fan considers him a Top 3 P4P fighter in the world based in his amateur and pro record as well as beating the top dogs in his division. Namely the #2 guy in his own division (with one hand mind you). FYI the #2 guy being a beast in his own right: Froch.

Lastly, hardcore fans know he hasn't fought much the last 12 months because of injuries and his last opponent backing out.
