Maidana is tailor made for someone with Broner's style. As long as he avoids that right the fight won't be too difficult for him.

Maidana has a nice left hook downstairs as well. Shoulder roll fighters are susceptible to the body. Floyd manages to make up for it but Broner only has a bastardized version of Floyd's style. Too up and down and static. Not enough foot movement either. He will get tagged by a guy like Chino. To the body and then the head.

The question is can he take the heat?

Would be a good fight but Maidana is a proven Jr. Welter as oppose to Broner. Maidana is the guy that made Ortiz quit and Khan run for his life. In my opinion, Broner should avoid Maidana for now and test his chin by taking another fighter that is not a super puncher. A win over Paulie ain't going to help him beat Maidana. Problem with the Argentine is he fight relentlessly and to beat this guy, Broner needs to be in top shape.
