I'm Mexican and I like Mickey García, but what he did is completely unprofessional so I will be rooting for JuanMa López tomorrow.

I don't like JuanMa too much, I think he's pretty dumb, but he's a warrior and always gives good fight, not matter if he wins or not, but he did what he was asked to do, weighted less than 126 so he deserves my respect even if it is for one time.

Mexico and the Mexicans in his rematch, BUT I
wanted Cotto to win because Margarito in no way

      WHERE EVER THEY ARE FROM.

It is okay to like the boxer even if he is not from your country.
I never miss a Cotto fight or Mayweather fight. **** I even wanted
Mayweather to spank Guerrero which he did and I am very glad
because for a moment Guerrero was talking like he was
      Roy Jones reborn.

Fair fight to everyone. That being said. War JuanMa...AND
      VIVA MEXICO perros!!!
I never thought i would see a non biased Mexican. I applaud you

Juanma should have refused to fight. This is such bullcrap. Somebody has to do what Michael Spinks did, and just walk away.

It's exactly what Broner did when he knew it was his last fight at that weight class, I didn't expect it from Garcia but missing by that much is just BS, trying to get hat advantage on him. Weak move by the boring Garcia.

Am sure Mikey didn't knowingly or purposefully come in overweight. He must have been struggling for a few days now and was wary of calling the fight off. Another thing is where was the 30 days and 7 days weigh in checks by the organisation (WBO)?

It would if Garcia had to lose them for the fight to move forward.

This is not new to boxing. Mayweather exceeded 2 Lbs. vs. Marquez and he had to pay some fee of his big check. Broner (another so called great) did it too and there has been many other cases. I'm surprised some posters saying that this fight should have been contracted at 128 #s; however, the title of Garcia at 126 would've never been on play (unless the WBO is so corrupt to accept it). Garcia was unprofessional and he has been already punished by stripping him from the title and by paying a substantial fee of his purse. And this will continue happening in the future because not all the fighters prepare with the same dedication, discipline and determination and many of those struggling with weight eventually would end moving up to the next upper division. That is part of boxing.

Most fighters can't afford to that. The one's who take advantage of this situation are almost always the one's who can get away with it.

This is what Canelo should do to Mayweather. Only difference is Mayweather would not fight for no extra amount no matter how much he is to scared of losing his 0.
