The World Boxing Organization has ruled that Orlando Salido (39-12-2, 27KOs) and Orlando Cruz (20-2-1, 10KOs) will battle for the vacant featherweight title - if Mikey Garcia defeats Juan Manuel Lopez on Saturday night in Dallas, Texas. On Friday, Garcia lost his title on the scale after coming in two-pounds over at 128. Juanma made weight at 125.5-pounds. Salido, who won the title from Juanma in 2011, lost an eight round technical decision to Garcia in January.

I am not, I rather Salido challenge Rocky Martinez since he wanted to move up in weight. I also prefer Juanma to be champ instead of Rocky. Juanma is a likable guy and Im a fan and I think Salido beats them both.

Salido's chin isn't what it used to be, or at least it seemed that way in his last 3-4 fights. But he has gotten up from all the KD's and he still has a punch plus he has experience enough to beat Cruz.
