Why do some overrate Diego's power?

In a recent discussion about hardest punching 135 lbers many fans put Diego at the top of their list. I ask why. He stopped Castillo but did horrible against Casamayor who was hardly granite chinned. I loved the guy as an entertaining fighter and may he r.i.p. but I'm not seeing what these other fans do. He had good power but he was not some steel fisted destroyer. Most of his major wins were caused by an accumulation of punches not 1 punch KOs.
