I imagine when a fighter is on the rise, they see themselves as a champion with a bright and limitless future. Who looks into the future and sees themselves as a fat slob that goes from carnival to carnival all to make a buck? What fighter in their right mind would forecast a future of apathy and woe. I'm pretty sure Rid**** Bowe didn't see himself that way, I'm sure when he started out he was as eager as the next guy to prove he had the mettle to be champion.

We have to remember that his desire to succeed was a moment in time, not a state of being or an end result. Rid**** Bowe lacked the sheer desire to succeed and it showed in his conditioning and personal life. Rarely can an athlete succeed if both their profession and personal life are in turmoil.

Look at how he lived his life, the guy joins the Marines quits, then begs to get back in. Pathetic and indecisive, but what the heck was he doing joining the Marines when he could have been Heavyweight Champ, with all of the fame and notoriety that's attach? What sane person sidesteps the careful preparation of their chosen field to run amok in another? What steady hand sits down to stuff his face instead of looking at his net worth, what it is and could be?

When athletes squander their careers and riches they are reduced to carnival and sideshow attractions. They suffer the humiliation of defeat and an ultimate loss of credibility. Rid**** Bowe has reduced himself to a "freak," to a shadow of a man he once was. He stood at the threshold of greatness but succumbed to the pressure so this is how it goes.....

HOW Do You Even Smile After Than Performance OR Pose For A Photo???

If you're Bowe, how do you stand there next to the guy that just gave you the beatdown of your life, and you smile and hold up your fist like you're some fighter or you did something productive??? Aside from his $150,000 clearing at the bank, he has nothing to smile about, shouldn't be in anyone's photos. Put a towel over your head and leave the arena, don't even shower. What a joke. No pride.
