Can Canelo carry boxing?

Carry boxing?? If Boxing was only the super WW division i could understand this, but there are a lot and even more entertaining and watchable fighters across the divisions.

For many years boxing was only the hw division to the public with every other division largely ignored. The rise of dlh and the decline of marketable hw's saw the lighter divisions get huge attention. Manny and Floyd have made ww the best known division to non fans. So to your point the perception of the non boxing fans is different from reality but the sport desperately needs them.
