Has anyone heard new news on Jose Benavidez?

Last I heard he was resting from a hand injury. I dont have much footage on this guy but had such high hopes because he has skills. I dont know if this hand injury will be recurring. What are your thoughts on this guy as a welterweight fighter? 17-0 should be up for future title shots.

It was me... I'm PR for Team B. He has been resting his hand, but we expect him in the gym in one week... we'll put photos up on his Facebook once he's back. Also, we expect his younger brother, David, who is also a beast, to make his pro debut on July 20th in Mexico.
