    Odanier Solis will fight Yakup Saglam on July 27

    Odlanier Solis will fight Yakup Saglam (29-2) on July 27 in Germany.

    Thanks for the info. I just looked Saglam up. I didn't know anything about him. He won his last fight, against Jonathan Pasi. In his second to last fight, against Charr, he didn't answer the bell for the third round. Yakup claimed a shoulder injury.

        I read that Pedro Diaz gave Solis an ultimatum regarding his conditioning. If that's true, we might be seeing a Solis in optimum shape. He should continue to fight the level of opposition he has been fighting since Vitali until he can maintain an elite level of conditioning.

        Heavyweights have a longer shelf life, but if he's not going to be just another victim of a lack of discipline, then this is the time for a change.

          looks like he is getting into shape, so hopefully we see the old Solis.

                  Saglam isn't too bad, but he's not as good as his record indicates at first glance. He's never beaten a top 100 HW.

                  No chance of Solis losing, but despite what happened in the Charr fight I think Saglam is durable enough to give Odlanier some rounds.
