Who would be the biggest test for Haye?

According to Eddie Hearn, the co-promoter of David Haye, claimed in the Daily Star today that a fight between Haye and Tyson Fury is set to be made this month in what could be the biggest PPV event in British boxing history.

Of course that means Haye won't get in the ring with Charr as he's now scheduled to fight against Mazikin.

I've been thinking about the two fights, and I'm thinking the Charr fight could potentially have been a harder fight for Haye than Fury. I'm not saying Charr would beat Fury, because I don't believe he would, but Fury's style and limited defense is tailor made for a big puncher like Haye.

What do you think? Which fight is tougher for Haye and why?

Charr might be a slightly bigger test but a match with Fury means more money.

Fury is an easier fight for more money so its no surprise Haye preferred that.

        Not really sure.

Haye doesn't like tall fighters, but apart from that Fury's style might suite him better.
Charr is somehow similar to Chisorra.

Audley Harrison? He loved him! Charr is tough as hell, he wasn't even fazed by Vitali in there encounter and he can pack a punch. Fury was almost KO'd by cunningham.

Thats my view as Well. Fury is probably the better boxer, but has a crap defense. In my opinion the big man is tailor made for that Haye overhand right. Charr is probably worse than Chisora on the pressure front from what I've seen, but can take a good wack and doesn't know his limits.

Even Peter Fury came out and said Haye would trouble Tyson if he lands. I just think the Fury camp think its worth the risk. A loss to Haye wouldn't be too worrying for Fury at this stage in his career. He could still come back from it.

Depends which Fury shows up.. If he's the same Fury, he'll get ko'd in 3 rounds. If he takes his time and shows his boxing ability. Jabs and moves around the ring he could put up a performance. His biggest problem is that he can't punch at elite HW level. For a big guy that's 240+ pounds, his right hand is surprisingly soft and so is his jab.

What would Furys best chance of winning be?

Seriously, though, it's a tough one. Charr isn't a big HW, so Haye's punch output would be higher. Against Fury, however, Haye is going to have to be selective with shots, as he'll be giving away reach, height and weight advantages.

                    Outboxing Haye.

Haye's volume is pretty low. If he can survive the distance I actually think he has a real chance for DW.
