I think Alvarado got in trouble for some violent stuff too. Wilder beat up his grilfriend. Szpilka was in prison for assault too, I believe.
On the flip side, Danny Green saved a man from drowning at the beach. He recieved a bravery award for it.

Sugar Ray Robinson frequently beat up his wife. Many others did the same. Gatti beat up his brand new beautiful young wife. Just far too many to enumerate. I'm frequently surprised at some of the things revealed in news reports about boxers' early lives. It seems as is 50% have been or will be in gaol at some time or other, some for many years.

Clifford Etienne the heavyweight that beat the undefeated Lawrence Clay-Bey and Lamon Brewster but only lasted 49 seconds with Mike Tyson.
Criminal History: Attempted murder, armed robbery, grand theft auto, and two counts of child kidnapping
Time Behind Bars: Currently serving 150-year sentence
In what might be the worst day at the office ever, Clifford Etienne went completely bonkers at his check cashing business. Frustrated with his employees for "not working fast enough," the boxer fired a round into the ceiling with a handgun. When the police arrived, Etienne tried to escape by car******* two different vehicles with children inside before being apprehended.
Etienne was charged with attempted first-degree murder of a police officer, two counts each of armed robbery and second-degree kidnapping. The man who's famous for being knocked out by Mike Tyson in 49-seconds will spend the rest of his life in prison.

It should have been 25.
