I think the age thing will hold him back. Then again MW isnt great at the moment and the guy has a good pro style. I can see good things for him, he has an entertaining style and throws lots of punches. I think his power is decent, he stopped the guy in his semi final in london and put a proper beat down on the other guys he fought.

I don't think he'll go too far that said I don't think that Zou Shimming will either.

I haven't seen an awful lot of either but from what I have I wasn't impressed.
Pressure fighter with no power! Lol horrible combo. Brain damage bound with those attributes.

i dont get why these asian amateur stars are turning pro so late in age? do they like benefit some how staying amateur so late in age is there something we don't know about thats different in Asia?

we got stars in latin america turning pro at like age 16 making high pay days by like the age of 20 why wouldnt the asian amateurs wanna jump on those high pay days?

They simply aren't good and MMA seems more popular.

If they do well in the Olympics, then money comes which is why they turn pro.

I guess we won't need to wait long, he's facing the Japanese light middleweight and OPBF middleweight champ, and boxrec #16 middleweight Akio Shibata, who is 21-7-1 next month in his debut.

He's fighting a guy with 29 pro bouts in his debut? Man that's crazy... At least we know he's going to move quickly (unlike freaking Shiming)

How's it a bad idea to sign an olympic gold medalist with a crowd pleasing style? You know who the last US gold medalist was? Ward, 9 years ago.
