When Lopez was getting at Maidana in the middle rounds, Garcia was calm and basically said Lopez wasn't really doing anything...then he gave very good specific advice and told Maidana he needed to get inside and that Lopez was catching him when he stayed outside. It wasn't rocket science, but it was what he needed to hear at that moment. I think his first comment likely helped Maidana remain poised, and his second comment made Maidana work to get closer which is when he get him out of there.
Good job in Garcia's corner.
But he was still dreaming when he said Rigo vs. Donaire was 3 to 3 after 6 rounds
