Miguel Cotto vs Marcos Maidana @ CW

Would NSB be down for this fight at perhaps a CW of 152? I personally think it'd be a fun fight, with lots of action and either fighter can make something happen. Neither fighter are in bad fights, so why not? I'd be down

    Thoughts?

The question won't be "Will Cotto take a knee?" ,it'll be "How many times?"

Cotto would have a better chance to win against brawlers, but Maidana is simply a savage. If Cotto neglects the body attack, I think he gets his ass whupped.

Wow, that's interesting...I think us fans should demand this fight happen then in Sept

Maybe the Cotto of 3-4 years ago, I wouldn't even blink at choosing a winner. Cotto of 2013 is past it. Maidana would make it interesting. It's a great fight I think

Even today's Cotto would put give Maidana a sever beating, if Josesito was able to hurt him Cotto would KO within 6 rds.

i doubt anyone wouldn't watch this if it happened, but imo madiana still isn't a full fledged welterweight. i wouldn't want to see him move up after getting just two solid wins at 147 (i know cotto is basically a blown up welterweight, but it's more about maidana's weight rather than his opponent). cotto can fight guys like the molina/smith winner or lara in the meantime. he has alvarez to look forward to after he fights mayweather. it'd be a cool fight to make, but it's nowhere in demand. maidana is busy with all the WWs around him, and cotto is looking at 154 lbers to face in the fall/winter.
