Even though I respect and recognize his craft, Ward.

        miguel vazquez.

his style is so bad judges give opponents rounds, even when they aren't landing more effective blows.

holy f#ck are vasquez fights awful. now that le bron has left the building, vazquez is the best lightweight in the world.

there's another very good lightweight without much of a style, and that's richard abril. he's much better on the eyes than vasquez, though.

Below them are guys like Ward, Wlad, Rigo and Mayweather. I used to enjoy watching Mayweather fight, but his last couple of fights have been boring as hell.

these are the four best pure boxers on the planet.

hopkins has the skills, but he's badly faded at this point.

I'm not doubting they are highly skilled, and I respect it. But that doesn't mean they are entertaining to me?

It's interesting that the fighters most of you found not entertaining are pure/technical boxers that don't rely on power or ko's alone. I would think that on a "Boxing" site the skill required to "BOX" on a World class level would be held in higher regard. I personally find the science involved as entertaining as the brutality of the sport. To each his own. But it kinda feels like the comparison of the value of the "Jump shot" vs a "dunk".

I would rather watch Vazquez than Abril but if those two ever faced I doubt the judges will be awake to score it.

Maybe this question was rhetorical, but I'll answer it anyway. I'm not a "fan" of all these fighters but they are mostly exciting to watch.

Maidana, Matthysse, Pacquiao, Froch, Khan, Golovkin, Ortiz, Pascal, Kessler, Quillin, Cotto, Judah and Haye.

Vitali fights nothing like that. I think you should say Wladimir, and not the Klitschkos as the pair

I think it's the nature of the HW division in general. It's a frickin' clinch-fest in there.
