I think Angulo took those punches because he was fighting a MW and he was a LHW, on top of that the ring was made for a brawler avery small ring and that has something to do with the way Lara had to fight, don't be a hater and enjoy...

Lara was out-classed easily by Molina and was losing to Vanes.Angulo was playing pinball with his ribcage until the KO. Give Lara credit for this fight,no doubt it was impressive and a huge win for him over a top 12-15 fighter at 154 lbs...but come on man...Put the Coolaid down ...and watch both those fights. I actually think that Paul Williams was closer to beating Lara than Lara was to getting a draw vs Molina. Moilna won 6/10 rounds on the Lara family scorecard..lol. Vanes controlled Lara in what was a horrible fight. Lara takes too many rounds off.

your delusional my dude .... punch stats are overated like crazy i could give to many examples ... if you throw 100 punches in one rd then do nothing in the next few rounds it will average out cause in that one rd he went crazy with the 100 but you still lose the next few rds but the stats will show that 100 in there smh i seen the fight twice molina outclassed him? i not here trying to defend lara at all but you are saying silly things.. molina held lara over 60 times in that fight it was a sloppy fight ... but straight lefts from lara kept landing while molina was busy but never really hit lara flush ... i say molina won by a rd or vice versa bu jesus you said "beaten badly" then "outclassed" lets be serious

1 Floyd
2 Canelo
3 Trout
4 Cotto
5 Molina...he beat Lara..great resume
6 K9..former world champ with pretty good resume
7 Ishe Smith..world champ..better competition
8 Kirkland 31-1 w/ 27 KO. I think he KTFO's Lara in less than 3 if he trains.
9 Vanes M (32-0)..and he was beating Lara handidly
10 Zaurbek Baysangurov (28-1)...he looked terrible vs K9 but is fighting Andrade soon,we'll all see if he is deserving or not.

I guess that right now in his career that you could make a case for Lara at maybe # 10,at best.The Angulo win moved him up my list from stepping stone to contender though, I will give him credit there.
