you took that as him saying he's a better person than manny and not as him making cotto look more like a threat? seriously? ok.

He didn't just say he thought Cotto was undefeated, he took a stab at Manny which is not needed to sell a fight and the Boxing world saw it backfire on him. You need to realize something!!! If Canelo had NOT agreed to meet Floyd any lower than 154 and in 3 months or 3 years came back and insulted another fighter for not dropping down in weight, EVERYONE would be jumping on Canelo which is ANALOGOUS to what Floyd is doing!!! Don't think I would be jumping on Canelo?? GUESS AGAIN! Cause guess what? I was one of Canelo's biggest critics and you would know that if you lived outside of Floyd/Broner threads!! I was all over Canelo ALL THE TIME till I realized he had been trying to get Paul Williams, Kirkland, and Trout in the ring and that changed my perspective! Trout and now Floyd? That kid has guts! And the guts to INSIST to his management that he wanted the best! This is what I call being unbiased, willing to praise and criticize. And guess what???? Floyd was my number 2 favorite fighter for 10 years but I didn't drink his Kool-Aid when he destroyed his public image.
