Pacquiao (MAB I) Vs. Rigondeaux (Donaire) @ 124lb

I like to think about this fantasy matchup because Pacquiao was far more raw and relentless than he was in the lightweight and welterweight division. At the same time you have Rigondeaux who is the exact opposite, who relies on skill and technique. They both have blindingly fast speed.

This is a hypothetical match up that I haven't seen yet.

So I want to know: who've you got and why?

A very intriguing match up, That Donaire fight really convinced me that Rigondeaux is just one of the best technicians that I have ever seen, and Pacquiao during that period in his career would not be able to touch Rigondeaux, and I am a big PAC-MAN fan.

hard to call.i think pac would beat him for 1 reason.donaire was able to get to him when actually started throwing punches,it was just too little to late.pac was more relentless at that weight and i think he coulda swarmed rigo out of there by a late stoppage.fight could go either way

Pac was really awkward and aggressive then. Technician or not, I don't think Rigo would be able to make 12 rounds w/o getting caught and stopped. However, I've only seen Rigo against 1 decent guy so it's hard to say.

When Donaire let his rage take control he scored the knockdown, and well we all know how Pac was back in the day.. not to mention Rigo will not have the advantage of fighting against a righty.

I could see a win for either man, but we've never seen Rigo fight anyone that simulates Pacquiao.

Pac by TKO late rounds 8-10

PAC easy ko. We all seen rigo get dropped, and the PAC man hits harder than those who've dropped rigo. Pacs one of the best finishers ever, IMO he would get the Ko.

Everyone at lower weight classes say Pacquiao was relentless but not a hard monster puncher he would overwhelm and stun his opponents like he did Marquez at first then he adjusted, and Rigo is all kinds of wrong for him even more than Marquez but Pacquiao is not one to shy when he gets hit hard like Donaire did so it would be interesting, that being said Rigo gets 1 good body shot on Pacquiao's 124 body and i see him pissing blood for a loooooong time.
