Nice pick with Milt there Ice. I had a chance to meet him a few years back at a benefit dinner along with Tommy Hearns, Hilmer Kenty, Bill Miller and so many more of the legends from that great era of Michigan boxing.

Still the highlight of my career as an obsessed boxing fan.

Watching them get up and talk about their sparring wars back when they were young was awesome. Hearns couldn't stop pounding his fist into his hand talking about Milt and Hilmer.

You could tell those guys loved each other but would kill for the chance to get in the ring and beat up on each other one last time.
