Why did the CSAC confiscate Lara's gloves after the fight with Angulo?

The replay CLEARLY showed the right jab lunge a thumb. But even without the replay, it was pretty obvious that it was a thumb because 1, Lara doesnt really have the power to hurt Perro. He landed cleanly all night, and barely got respect. 2 The way Perro reacted, like he was badly injured. I knew instantly it was a thumb.

I love how they're clamoring about a thumb.

I remember the announcers saying "It's a thumbless glove, isn't it? Yeah, it is!" right after the fight.

a thumb isnt' going to break an orbital bone, either.

even when wrapped and gloved it will give too much to generate the impact needed to crack the skull. hell, it would probably damage his thumb before it broke the caveman brows of angulo.

I never really got why the commission allows fighters to bring their own gloves. They should supply the gloves and avoid this kind of nonsense

There's so many brands of gloves and each brand makes different types too. As long as the gloves aren't tampered in any way, I don't see the issue with fighters bringing their preferred gloves.

Lara must have the strongest thumb in history. It had nothing to do with him landing his left hand over and over again. None.

Yea it was messed up a little. But the thumb is what made Perro quit.
