I'll laugh so hard if Floyd threatens to call the fight off over missing weight.

      I wouldn't.

He'd be discredited for his win, if it occurred.

He already has done it in the past. I said this right away for the record. He should do it IMO.

Dan rafael said on twitter that there was a clause in the contract regarding a fine for each pound over, he hadnt been informed on the fine amount but he was told it was a lot of money. I think it's fair to say it will be a lot more than 300,000 per pound like the Marquez fight

It would be interesting to see if Floyd backed out if Canelo came in at 154......

That would be funny and sad at the same time.....

Yes he should. That way all the posters that cried cw would have to give floyd full credit because canelo was 154. All excuses would theoretically be wiped out.

Floyd is on thin ice with SHO/CBS

Theres no way he calls off this fight over 2 pounds and gets to fight on SHO again

And you know HBO doesn't want anything to do with him

GBP probably can't afford to cover the penalty but Carlos Slim can. If I'm him I gladly pay the fine

As the way it is now, floyd wins it will because canelo weight drained......

I think the floyd haters and floyd fans would both be happier if this happened. I doubt people would discredit Canelo if he came in above the limit (within reason) and won, as opposed to Canelo fans saying PBF beat a dried-out Canelo.

1 Million is going going rate most boxers request per pound over agreed limit but Floyd played Marquez from start when the contract was made so he only had to pay $600k for the two pounds over that he never intended to cut.
