If Mayweather doesn't TKO him early, it would have to be a disappointment.

It's funny how all you people wanted this fight to happen, now that Zab lost to Baldy, no one wants this fight. People lets not forget this is boxing many great fighters have lost & came back, I'm not saying Zab will win, I think Mayweather will win. If Mayweather don't fight Za, then who should he fight.

Hatton don't want to fight Mayweather now.
Cotto don't want to fight Mayweather now.

We have Zab or Baldy. I rather watch Zab any day over Baldy. Margarito is fighting someone else, so that fight can't happen by April, again a fight with Margarito & Baldy will not be a seller & it will be on regular free HBO.

Only the Zab fight will be PPV, believe it or not many people still wants to see this fight. Mayweather will still make more money from the Zab fight, then fighting a guy like Baldy or Margarito.

Boxing is a "hit and not get hit" game. That's for sure, but Diego and Jose Luis can box their asses off. I could kind of see calling someone like Mayorga a non-boxer even though I like the guy.

But when Chico snaps off some those damn combos...it's a thing of beauty. That's great boxing.

Because of his opponents the last two years, that why it's hard. The thing is, there ARE people to fight out there. The fights just aren't being made.

Why is it hard? Floyd has already fought a much more impressive resume than Corrales, Castillo, Hatton, Judah, Tszyu, anybody around him. Well maybe not DLH and Mosley but he's getting there.

I can easily come up with 10 people off the top of my head that Floyd has fought good. Can you come up with 5 that the others have fought? Say you can, big deal. Floyd's still obviously fought better people and beat them all clearly.

I was just using Chico's combos has an example. I wasn't saying that he's more skilled than Castillo.

Diego has short arms though, especially for a 6 foot tall guy. He just wanted to smother Castillo and not let him get his shots off. Castillo flipped the script in the 2nd fight because he was moving in and out.

These guys are world-class fighters and are extremely skilled. You have to admit, it's just not a style you like. Which is cool.
But every fighter has to play to his strengths. Corrales happens to be his punching power. So he's either going to walk you down, a la Frietas, or stand inside, Castillo.

It's kind of unfair to compare every fighter to Floyd because he's a boxing genius. But the whole "in the pocket" thing wouldn't suit Corrales strengths. He has to use whats there for him.

-He fights Gatti, who everyone has already beaten.

-Then he fights Mitchell, coming off of a KO loss in his last major fight.

-Now he's going to fight Judah, who is coming off of a loss to an unknown.

Hello? Magarito probably has the most respected current title at 147 and is itching to fight Floyd, would probably be as big as the Judah fight if promoted right in Vegas, and there would be quite a bit of doubt about the outcome among fans. THAT is the kind of fight the fans want from Floyd. And Arum could make it for him in about 5 seconds. It's about time for Floyd to fight guys who aren't on the downslide, esp since he's supposed to be the best.
