Berto sounded horrible when being interviewed..
His voice has that lispy nasal tone to it much like meldrick taylor but not as bad..
He also was having trouble every 30 seconds.. He would talk fine and then sputter...

I think he and dawson both have serious damage and need to get out of the game now...

Just hearing Berto talk, i gotta go with Soto-karass in their fight.. I think Berto has serious brain problems after that horrific ghost fight..... plus all the other wars he has been in...

Did anyone notice it... I watched it twice and both times he didnt sound good. espcially the mental sputters and laspes every 30 seconds.....
His neurons are not firing in direct lines anymore.

Yes he was but someguys can just built to take punishment I.E. Mickey ward, soto-karass, mayorga, duran, hagler, foreman,
Some are not built to take much punishment in their career I.E. Vargas, Meldrick, Bowe, Taylor, Dawson, Berto

I think Berto talks a little bit punch drunk. I watched some old interviews and you can tell his voice/demeanor has changed a bit. Sad stuff.

Maybe Victor Ortiz had a point in his interview after the Maidana fight.

Some of these guys just aren't articulate. I can't recall hearing Berto being interviewed in depth before his wars, so I can't really call it.

He wasnt so much punch drunk as he was just a little lispy and the mental sputters.. He couldnt go 30 seconds with the sputters..

It was sad to see,, And im honestly shocked showtime put him on the air live to talk...
It made boxing look really bad if you are just a casual fan or some girlfriend watching with their boyfriend...
It totally stereotyped the brain damaged boxer
