How do you guys remember the end of the Chad Dawson-Andre Ward fight?

How did you guys see the end of the Dawson vs Ward fight? I remember Dawson was done quite some time before he was stopped in the ring. I remember he basically signalled in the corner to his trainer Scully that he is done and that he wants the fight to be stopped. Scully saw he was ready to "quit" and was having none of it and sent him out again to take further punishment. I remember back then when I saw the fight that I thought Scully should have pulled him out of the fight when he saw Dawson was done.

And no, I never boxed myself and I am not a trainer and I do not know what kind of pressure the TV networks etc put on the fighters and the trainers. I am just talking as a person from the outside. I remember I thought Scully should have saved Dawson from further punishment.
