Rumor has it that the only reason Stevenson was able to sneak in that left hand was because Dawson wasn't satisfied with his first minute and was in the middle of firing his trainer Eddie Mustapha Muhammad when the finishing blow landed.

Apparently ringside mics picked up the following audio from Dawson:
