Next Saturday in Tabasco, Mexiuco - welterweight contender Jorge "Pantera" Silva will face Francisco “Volcán” Cordero of Colombia. Cordero replaces the injured Luis Collazo, who withdrew last week. At 21 years old, Silva has a professional record of 20 wins, 16 of these by knockout, in exchange for three defeats and two draws. Cordero has an impressive record of 28-2 with 20 wins by knockout, but in his last fight he was stopped in two rounds by junior middleweight Michael Oliveira. Cordero is fighting well above his comfortable weight, as in late 2010 he was fighting at super featherweight.
