I think that is why opinions of the fighters are so different on NSB
And the fact that Garcia is douchey with his large white framed glasses, while Matthysse is in the Argentine back country eating Iguanas.

Matthysse is a man. Garcia is a pop star.

I think in terms of excitement and style they are equal. I don’t know why people are saying Garcia looked terrible against Khan, he was timing Khan the whole fight with counters. He was landing solid counter shots the whole fight, people need to watch that fight on mute.

Erik Morales is my favorite mexican fighter of all time by the way.

I favor Lucas in this fight but Danny has surprised me before and I like him as a fighter. If Danny is going to win, he is going to have to dig deep and show more heart and durability than he's ever had to show in the past. To me Danny became “the man" before he really should've been. Landing the Khan fight was a fortuitous situation and he made the best of it. But in essence, he skipped a step. Now we have a fighter who is still learning but must take on all comers because he's a unified champion.

Yea, fans like you are like the Flo-mos who care more about what a man does outside the ring then what he does in it. I can care less about how a man dresses or what he eats outside the ring.

very well said, and I can agree with a lot of this. Danny was picked to fight Khan though because he was expected to lose and like you said made the best of it, he doesn’t get enough credit for that fight.

i disagree with you about the danny-khan fight...
I have watched that fight about 100 times because it was one of the most exciting in a long time...
I honestly thought the first 2 rounds khan looked like he had put all his tools together and was looking like the next roy jones and then BOOM garcia catches him in the 3rd and its all over in the 4th...

I do agree with you that they both are exciting,,, Lucas because of the ko power and danny because he is much like cotto in that he has defensive flaws and can get rocked but still pull out the win..

not at all but it adds yo his badassness in the ring.

So you probably think Valero is a bad ass then.

When Matthysse knocks him out I'll try to remember that you thought Garcia would win but i'll probably be too busy celebrating one of my favorite fighters adding another KO to his record.
