Little Creek Casino Resort, Shelton, Washington - A battle of super middleweights saw Farah Ennis (21-1, 12KOs) come from behind to win a ten round unanimous decision over Anthony Hanshaw (23-3-2, 14KOs). Ennis started slow, but found his groove in the mid rounds and began to stage a big late rally, which included a knockdown in the tenth. The scores were 95-94, 96-93, 96-93.

Other than for two of the scores there was nothing close about the fight. The Russian won with better movement and straighter punches, counter punching and better ring generalship. He also turned it on in the last round when he had to and won.

The commentators said so too. The fight was a war and it was close though.

Glad to see the judges got it right. I thought Molina was going to win it by robbery.

I thought the same thing and it was rather refreshing that they got it right.

            97-94 Klimov

It was indeed refreshing to see the lesser-known fighter get the decision he deserved.

Agreed- was great to see judges get this one right. Not sure what is in store for Molina Jr. -but probably not too much - he's like Katsidis but with no power. Btw wtf is up with college baseball having precedence over Friday night fights?...I understand the whole Nascar thing a couple times a year as its a huge American draw but college baseball?- and of course it goes to xtra innings...

I was shocked that the judges actually got it right -- had Klimov winning by 3 points but figured there was no way that he'd get the decision -- could this be the start of a trend that judges actually score rounds based on close observation rather than gifting the 'name' fighter several points as a matter of course?
