Read a lot of people on here completely writing off DeGale if he fought Froch.

Froch is my favourite fighter but I think people have got it wrong with DeGale.

Styles make fights and his style would cause Froch problems. Not saying he would win, but he would cause problems and make it a good competitive fight.

I do feel sorry for him. I couldn't stand him before the lead up of the Groves fight and I was glad that he lost. Between the both of them, I still prefer Groves though. The only thing that has changed is my admiration of DeGale - he's not getting nowhere and it's all because of Hennessy Sports.

Like he's said after his loss to Groves, he was humbled and he realized that he had to tone it down. He's admitted that hes cringed over his attitude before.

They've done a complete switch, Groves is a complete côck end these days.

I do respect Chunky for shutting his mouth and getting on with it rather than making a big deal out of the decision loss against Groves.

DeGale does need to step it up after this fight though. I think he's capable of handling Groves and Groves wouldn't take the rematch IMO.

I like Chunky, still have hopes for him too. But Froch eats him alive. Froch would just walk through De Gale's shots which are like slaps compared to some of the blows Froch has handled lately. Carl would pour it on him like the Bute fight and that would be that.
I think Groves presents a better challenge actually

But you say about Froch pouring it on DeGale, Groves has a worse chin than DeGale.

Both of them would cause a few problems with speed and movement which is the way to beat Froch.

DeGale also has a very long reach which will help him box Froch and keep him at range. Will be interesting to see how DeGale performs tomorrow night, albeit against not great oppo, and whether his claims about the knee being fully healed really shows with his movement.

And whilst I say DeGale will surprise a few and win some rounds, if he carries on his habit of sitting on the ropes Froch will KTFO him. Again, not sure how much the knee impacted that.

I would prefer to see Froch v DeGale than Froch v Groves.

However, neither of them deserve the fight until they beat someone good.

Nice to see DeGale has picked up on this growing internet bull**** that Groves has "progressed more" than him.

The only reason people think that is because DeGale has been under the radar and Eddie Hearn/Matchroom has been shoving Groves down everyone's throat.

Nah, dude - it's because Hennessy is a **** promoter.
