I don't believe the argument that Roy Jones had a weak chin early in his career, just because he's lost it in the latter part. It is possible for a fighter to lose their chin over time.

when RJJ was in his prime, he hardly ever got hit, and his speed was amazing. McClellan was a bigger puncher, but much slower, and he relied on the power too much. Roy's speed would allow him to land on mcClellan, McClellan would have a hard time finding Roy. Think of Benn - McClellan, Benn was easy to hit, Roy was not. McClellan might knock RJJ down, like Del Valle did, but i think prime RJJ gets up and outboxes McClellan for the rest of the night, later on in the fight, it gets especially ugly for the G man as RJJ would be tripling up the left hook and pot shotting him with combinations. In the early rounds this would be an exciting fight to watchComment
