  • At Last Marquez is A Big Hit

Casting aside his bitter disappointment at the cancellation of the fight against Manny Pacquiao, which collapsed like a deck of cards, over purse rows, WBA and IBF Featherweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez, has launched into his sparring sessions.

Team Marquez hope to persuade fellow Mexican and IBF Super Bantamweight Israel Vazquez to swop leather with Juan, on February 26th, which was the date scheduled for his second meeting with Manny. [details]

Big hit? i think he was hit big before and now but marquez a bit hit? come on! bad, very bad headline, but quite catchy, hehe... marquez is a big hit... yeah right... bottomline is that he holds the two versions of the title... so what? morales does not have any titles around his belt, but manny gets much more money and respect from this fight, not to mention much more excitement from fans... well i can say this is a big hit...

        Such a big hit!

He bounces off jabs against an opponent with just about a half dozen pro fights, doesn't get to penetrate the defenses of an awkwarkd welterweight who has had only a dozen ring appearances, and he becomes a big hit!

        Wow!

And he's disappointed about not meeting Pac over purse issues which he and his manager oh so belatedly put in the mix?!

Poor Juan. Trying to be happy despite what happened. He will be fortunate to get another 750K offer which is very unlikely at point of his career. Fight Vazquez? Sure. He seems to be going into downward trend. I hope he will get what he wished for last christmas and may I guess what. Truck loads of fried chickens? HAHAHAHA!!!
