Silva needs to stop making excuses and fight Jon Jones instead of Roy Jones.

I haven't heard any excuses from silva not wanting to fight Jon jones?? I'm sure if Dana present to this Anderson, Anderson would have no problem with it. I still think jones size is too much for silva.

I've heard him quickly change the subject when the issue was raised. He fought Stephan Bonnar as a late replacement at light heavy, then after the fight, when they asked him about Jones, all he would say was that he wasn't a light heavyweight, only fought at that weight to save the show and he wouldn't be fighting at light heavyweight again. It was along those lines, anyway.

This sh^t was being talked about four years ago, and nothing happened then and nothing will happen now. Truth is, such a fight, because of Silva being a complete and utter boxing newb and possessing virtually zero experience in the sport of boxing, probably wouldn't be sanctioned in the first place.




Secondly, even if it were somehow sanctioned, Jones would tear this boy apart and beat him like he stole something. Christ, Mike McCallum could come out of retirement and utterly school Silva, even at this point. The disparity in technique and ring craft between the two would be so ridiculously significant.

Yeah I agree Jones will kill him in a boxing ring even if hes 60. It will be worse then butterbean vs larry holmes
