  • Who has an obvious advantages over these fights.

Some of these fights were catchweight fights and the others it seems like but technically were not.

    1. 147 Floyd vs 140 Hatton at 147
    2. 135 Marquez vs 147 Floyd at 146
    3. Floyd a 2x champ at 154 vs 154 Canelo at 152

(Floyd a champ at 147 fought 140 Hatton and 135 Marquez at 147-146. Floyd a 2 times champ at 154 he is fighting 154 Canelo at 152.)

    1. 135 Pac vs 154 Oscar at 147
    2. 147 Pac vs 140 Hatton at 140
    3. 140 Pac vs 147 Cotto at 145

(135 Pac fought Oscar at 147 then moved down to 140 and fought Hatton then moved up to 145 and fought Cotto.)

Marquez vs Floyd was a 144 pound catch-weight that Floyd did not bother to make. He weighed in at 146 instead of the contracted catch-weight, that's right around the same weight he comes in for his normal welterweight fights.

Saying Pacquiao was a true 147-pounder when he fought Hatton, just because he had fought Oscar at WW, is a little iffy. Pacquiao's best fighting weight at the time was arguably 140-lb.

In every case you listed except perhaps the Pacquiao-Hatton fight, the A-side fighter (Mayweather and Pacquiao) had the advantage due to their negotiating power. You could say Pacquiao had the rougher go of it because he was fighting bigger guys for the most part, but he was also aided by catch-weights that were designed to sap the bigger fighter's power.

One of the worst examples of a catch-weight fight went unlisted here: 147-lb Pacquiao vs a 154-lb Margarito at 150 lb. Floyd's fight against Marquez was shameful too as Floyd did not even pretend to give Marquez a fair shot at his weight, it arguably wasn't a catch-weight fight because Mayweather ignored the catch-weight limit.

It remains to be seen whether the 152-pound weight limit Mayweather and Canelo have contracted at will be a factor for the bigger Alvarez.

Canelo already showed signs of stamina issues at 154. If he shows it and loses at 152, Floyd fans will just say as an excuse that Canelo always had issues with stamina .... instead of saying, going down to 154 and now 152 then back up to 168-172 is what contributed to the stamina issues.

Marg fought all his life at 147 and Pac could fought him there without a catchweight bullcrap and beat him worst. When Pac agreed to fight Marg at 150 he just gave Marg a huge weight advantage over him. That fact that Marg has 17 lbs advantage over Pac during the fight helped him more to withstood Pac onslaught.

Pac fought Marquez at 126 and 130 already. Marquez is also naturally bigger than a former flyweight Pac. They could fight at heavyweight but still they both will weigh in the same. Both fighters has no weight advantage over the other except the last fight of course after Marquez became a hulk.

Manny weighed more than Marquez in three out of four fights, so how did Marquez have an advantage in the 4th fight?

Goes to show the Pacdtards are still trolling! Is there a thread for who has the most idiotic fans, Manny or Floyd?

Pac vs Marquez 2 was at 130lbs, Pacquiao entered the ring at 145lbs. I don't think Marquez was anywhere near that on that fight. Pacquiao also outweighed Morales too on fight night. Do a little homework and come back to us with an objective thread.

Mentioning Mayweather/Hatton without bringing up Pac/Bradley or the upcoming Pac/Rios is a little weak too. Hatton was a former 147lbs champ. What? He didn't look as good as he normally does at the lower weight? Funny that.

                  2. 147 Pac vs 140 Hatton at 140
                  3. 140 Pac vs 147 Cotto at 145

(135 Pac fought Oscar at 147 then moved down to 140 and fought Hatton then moved up to 145 and fought Cotto.)
1:Floyd and Hatton were both champs at 147, both the same size, though neither had fought at 147 for about a year going into it, so neither had the advantage at 147. Even fight.
2: Floyd had the advantage over Marquez.
3: Canelo has the advantage over Floyd at 152.

1: Pac had the advantage against Oscar, as Oscar hadn't made 147 in nearly a decade and nearly died making it.
2: Pac and Hatton at 140. Neither had the advantage.
3: Pac maybe had a slight advantage over Cotto. Not much of one though so I don't think it matters much. Let's call it even.
4: Pac had the advantage over Margarito at 150.
5: Pac had the advantage over Marquez in their 3rd and 4th fights at the full 147 limit.
6: Unlike Hatton/Floyd, Bradley wasn't a 147 champ, though he had won a fight there, so I think Pac still had the small advantage there.
7: Rios has only just moved to 140, so Pac has the advantage there too.

See how easy it is you dumb ****? When you're a ****tard with Pacqeye blindness (a similar condition to Pinkeye but caused by wanking over Pac too much) you miss that he has done what you're trying to accuse others of, but he's done it more often and you'll never get that because you're a blind ****.

I ****ing hate these ******s. Mate, get over it and drop it. It's not going to sway anybody. Just keep your ******ation to yourself. Don't want it spreading.

You are a certified floydiot and your argument doesn't make sense. What do you expect to a floydiot? Floyd admitted he cherry picked his fights and confessed he is a rich coward whose health comes first than fight those what his fans want because he said they don't pay his bills. Do you really pay his bills? If not then your a certified idiot who can't figure out your boy has no love for you.
