Alright, polling time. Who do you have this Saturday for Lopez vs Maidana?
Lopez lost his last fight out while Maidana won his against Karass.
I think Lopez could outbox Maidana if Maidana plods and doesn't throw enough during a round.
But maybe the "new and improved" Maidana shows us something different here.

I like Maidana's jab and defense more than Lopez, I also think he's the better puncher as well, leaning towards Maidana. Lopez has the better conditioning though, so if Maidana doesn't do enough damage early, Lopez can take the later rounds and possibly win.

HBO's card is meh though....... no.... not even meh.
A lot of fights going on this weekend though. I rate Huck/Alafobi above HBO's card as well though

true. Angulo is in a tough spot. Lara IMO is the better fighter but he does make mistakes. I almost never pick the puncher/brawler over the boxer. Just a gut feeling here.

the 'lucky punch' angle is what intrigues me in the Angulo fight...other than that, i see Lara comfortably winning on points
