Same reason, when holyfield was caught buying drugs was not bad

same reason floyd was tested positive, when pederson and others were tested, golden boy protects their fighters by putting in contract clauses only allowing them to know!

other promoters would do the same in terms of their contracts

Interesting, looks like Anthony Bosch is going to finally talk.
NEW YORK -- The founder of a Miami anti-aging clinic has agreed to talk to Major League Baseball about players linked to performance-enhancing drugs, a person familiar with the case told The Associated Press on Tuesday night.

The person declined to be identified because the investigation was still ongoing.

Information that Anthony Bosch provides MLB on players who came to the now-closed Biogenesis of America clinic could lead to suspensions. Alex Rodriguez, Ryan Braun, Nelson Cruz and Melky Cabrera are among the players whose names have been tied to the clinic.

The agreement between Bosch and MLB was first reported by ESPN.

Cano and Gio by evidence got cleared and their names where all over that list, but just as well Gamboa could be guilty but nobody is going to ask Bosch about Gamboa cause is not the MLB business and like you said Boxing don't give 2 fks they don't punish people who actually test positive, Gamboa has never tested positive and has an Olympic background.

Ofc haters gonna hate and as soon as the rumor stated he was Roider of the year because their fighters are pedestrian dog**** in comparison to him but i do genuinely would like to know and most likely wont get to.

I would bet any amount of money that UFC is at least as bad as boxing, if not worse, when it comes to PED abuse.

MMA is probably worse. Just looking at MMA fighters you can tell. There's a couple of well known MMA stars basically allowed to use testosterone because the have low levels. In most cases when a young athlete has low testosterone it's usually from steroid use. Steroids shut down your bodies' own production of testosterone and other hormones. Usually to the point where your body stops producing it permanently. Boxing isn't serious about cleaning up the sport. I'll bet if you test a lot of the KO artists in boxing you'll likely find PED use. As long as there are sensational KOs they'll hardly do anything about it. Unless one of the superstars get caught.

Whether anything comes of this or not it should give fans a good look into the type of athlete Gamboa is.

He is lazy is the ring and lazy and looking for shortcuts in his training.

Two years ago he looked like he might be a special fighter, now he is just another lazy Cuban who is satisfied just to have made it.
